Some opinions from our clients 7 June, 2011
“I did the Illuminated Rome tour with Appian Line. It was very good and we had a great time at the end of the tour at Opera Restaurant where we dined and were entertained by a lovely local opera band.
Though some people on the tour had not read the description / information about this tour and so they had thought that the bus would stop at each sight. which was not the case – but that was clear on their brochure – if you had read it.
Also their Mini Art Tour was a great one; a group of 14 people on a 4 days escorted tour to Siena, Assisi, Florence, Venice and back to Rome. We enjoyed the tour. Our tour leader – Lucy, was very good.
I definitely recommend Appian Line tours.”

“I had the experience to take your “Rome in One Day Tour” with my wife. It was a very nice experience discovering Rome. We saw both the Vatican and the Colosseum among other sites. I must say that one tour guide to the Colosseum “or Colosseo” stood out and was intellectually gifted her name was Martha, or “Marta” as she announced it. She was very considerate, knowledgeable and passionate about her work and it showed throughout tour.
She was very well informed and gave a lot of useful information relevant to sites that we visited. She gave examples related to the sites and made us not only experience history but live it. It is people like her that made our visit to Rome exceptional. Myself and my wife enjoyed her company and wish her the best in her future endeavor.”
